These Terms of Service govern your use of Cruise Journal, operated by Digbe eSolutions LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
Cruise Journal is a personal, offline-first cruise logbook. It lets you record your cruise line, ship, and itinerary, and log dining, excursions, onboard amenities, entertainment, daily weather, notes, and photos for each day of your trip. The service is designed to work fully offline at sea, syncing your entries automatically once you have port or home internet connectivity. It is available as a web app and as a progressive web app (PWA) installable on mobile and desktop devices.
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@mycruisejournal.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
New accounts include a 30-day free trial. After the trial, continued write access (adding or editing cruises, days, logs, photos, and generated emails) requires a subscription at $1.99/month, billed through Stripe. Existing data you've already logged remains viewable even if your trial lapses without subscribing. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we do not offer refunds for partial months. Some users may receive complimentary or extended access through a beta invitation or a promotional coupon code, at our discretion.
Your cruises, itinerary entries, logs, and photos belong to you. We do not sell your personal data or your logbook contents to third parties. If you use the "Generate Email" feature, the day's logged details are sent to a third-party AI provider solely to produce your requested email draft, and are not used to train any model or shared for any other purpose.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages from our infrastructure providers (Render, Supabase). We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@mycruisejournal.com.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or that any defects will be corrected.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Digbe eSolutions LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to conflict of law principles.
